Emerging Markets NOT to Buy Into
News date: Sunday, 27th of November, 2005
Although investors are starting to look at emerging markets such as Bulgaria, Estonia and Turkey, these markets are for the High Risk Investor only. Statistics from lawyers reports show that 60% of the properties are built illegally, with more negative reports to come to light in the future. Research also reveals that in these countries, although the property market is developing, the support systems are not. Should any difficult situation arise, the experience and support is not there for legal recourse. These markets are still unstable with the development of the necessary infrastructure years away, making Spain a surer, more mature option.
